Messages are Going Viral Again About Free Internet Data | Real or Fake?

What is going viral is being claimed on social media that the Narendra Modi government is giving 10 GB of free internet to students every day for online education in the Corona era.

There is a link with the viral message, the student is being told that only after clicking on the link will get free data.

Request: 🙏 For the convenience of people, share this message as much as possible so that they can get the benefit of this facility.

◾And What is True?

The viral Message Reads:
School-college closed due to corona virus.

This makes it clear that the Message is of Lockdown Time.

We have not found any such news on the internet, which confirms that the government is giving free internet to students.

Clicking on the link that goes viral with the message makes it clear from the URL of the webpage that opens that this is not a government website.

The last URL on the government website is gov.in, which is not the case.

We have also not received any update on MHRD and the official website of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting regarding the provision of free internet data.

Although we checked the Twitter handle of Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, we did not find any such announcement.

The official Twitter handle of the central government called the PIB fact check a fake.
