Snow fell on tree branches in Mount Abu.



Mount Abu, the only hill station in Rajasthan, has been affected by the cold due to activation of northern winds. However, the minimum temperature rose by 1 degree to 2 degrees on Monday. The cold, however, did not bring relief. The maximum temperature is recorded at 25 degrees.

Monday morning saw a very long fog. The trees, boats and cars parked in Nakki Lake were frozen. Gurushikhar, Oriya and Achalgarh areas also received dew drops in the morning.

Gulmarg was the coldest in Kashmir.
On the other hand, the temperature in Kashmir was dropping to minus. Gulmarg remained the coldest, where the mercury reached minus (-) degrees. Srinagar recorded -1.3 degrees, Pahalgam -2.3 degrees, Kupwad -1.3 degrees, Qazigund -0.3 degrees and Kokarnag 0.2 degrees and Kokarnag 0.2 degrees.

Amit Sinha, a scientist from Patna , a meteorological center, said a new system was being developed in the Bay of Bengal, which would not affect Bihar. On the other hand, cold wave and snowfall in northern India will cause cold in the surrounding states. There will also be fog in the morning in areas along lakes and rivers.

The minimum temperature in Patna on Monday was 11 degrees, 0.6 degrees higher than on Sunday. The maximum temperature rose 0.8 degrees to 26.8 degrees. The lowest temperature in the state was recorded in Gaya at 9.2 degrees.
