The world's largest canvas painting fetched 62 62 million (Rs 450 crore) at a charity auction in Dubai. 'The Journey of Humanity' has found a place in the world's most expensive artwork. This painting was created by British painter Secha Jeffrey. He created the painting to raise funds for children affected by the Kovid-19 epidemic. He has used 1,065 paint brushes and 6,300 liters of paint color.


17,000 square feet of canvas painting


The 17,000-square-foot painting is titled 'The Journey of Humanity'. It is about the size of a basketball court. Secha estimated the cost of the painting to be માં 30 million, but he is happy to receive more than the expected amount. Dubai businessman Andre Abdon agreed to pay double the price of the painting at an auction charity on Monday.

The story behind the artwork is more interesting.

Last year, the British artist was trapped in Dubai due to a lockdown due to the Corona virus. “I wanted to do something different during the lockdown,” said Secha Jeffrey. I had to help people. It took 7 months to complete such a large painting. The buyer of Jeffrey's artwork said in a statement, 'Investment and love'

“I’ve always wanted to help kids,” Jeffrey said. I didn’t have a meal to eat when I was younger. Right now I get two tank meals. We should definitely help others. Parts of Jeffrey's painting were on display at the auction. The painting is currently housed in the Lela Heller Gallery in Dubai.



Before this, the most expensive artwork i.e. digital artwork has been auctioned for Rs 508 crore. Although this art is not available in physical form, everyone was surprised to see such a large auction.
