A record 1.44 lakh cases were reported in 24 hours





In the country of Corona:A record 1.44 lakh cases were reported in 24 hours; Active cases over 10.40 lakh for the first time, recovery rate dropped to 90%






More than 95 million people have been vaccinated so far



The situation in the country is constantly getting very bad because of Corona. A record 1 lakh 44 thousand 829 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours in the country. This is the highest number of cases reported in a single day since the virus was transmitted last year. Earlier on Thursday, 1.31 lakh cases were registered.

The number of active cases i.e. patients being treated has also increased significantly. On Friday, 77,199 people recovered across the country, while 773 patients died. Thus, the number of active cases has increased by 66 thousand 760. There are now 10 lakh 40 thousand 993 patients undergoing treatment in the country. This figure is much higher than Corona's previous stage peak. September 17 last year was the peak day of the transition. The country had the highest number of 10.17 lakh active cases on this day. Since then the figures have been declining, but now again the situation is becoming dire.

Within a single day, the recovery rate has come down from 91% to 90%. The
recovery rate has been steadily declining. In a single day, it dropped from 91.76% to 90.8%. It has dropped by about 8% in the last three weeks. The lowest is 80.5% in Chhattisgarh and 82% in Maharashtra. The active rate is much higher here. Chhattisgarh currently has an active rate of 18.4% and Maharashtra an active rate of 16.3%.

Corona updates

Amid growing corona, one more worrying piece of news has surfaced. In the last one week, 32 health workers, including several Delhi AIIMS doctors, have tested positive for corona. According to media reports, all of these people have been given both doses of the vaccine. A day earlier, 37 doctors at Delhi's Sir Gangaram Hospital were infected.

On Friday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met the director of Sir Gangaram Hospital and reviewed the situation, while all government and private schools in Delhi have been closed due to increasing cases of corona. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said all schools would remain closed till further orders.

The Odisha government has increased the fine for not wearing a mask. Now a fine of Rs 2,000 and Rs 5,000 will be levied on those who do not wear a mask for the first and second time. This is the largest fine in the country for not wearing a mask. In most states it is Rs 200 to Rs 500. A fine of Rs 2,000 was imposed in Delhi.

East Coast Railway says that from April 10, passengers coming to Odisha from anywhere in the country will be required to have an RT-PCR negative report (not older than 72 hours) or a certificate of having taken a second dose of the vaccine. Must be quarantined for 7 days without valid documents.


The Bihar government on Friday announced some new sanctions. Shops, showrooms and malls will close at 7 p.m. Only 35% of employees in government offices and 33% of employees in private will be allowed to come in one day, i.e. the duty of one employee will take place after two days, with the government ordering closure of schools, colleges, coaching till April 18.

Restaurants, hotels and dhabas will open in Bihar with 25% capacity. Only 50% of the people will be admitted in all cinema halls. Only half the capacity of public transport will be allowed to sit. CM Nitish Kumar said a special campaign for vaccination would be launched from April 11 to 14.

Classes 1 to 12 in Haldwani, Dehradun and Haridwar in Uttarakhand will be closed till April 30.

At Allahabad University, 40 staff corona have been found positive, two of whom have died. The university has been sealed until April 21. The date of the examination has also been extended.

The Maharashtra government has postponed the MPSC entrance exam scheduled for April 11 till further orders.

Situation of major states

1. Maharashtra
58,993 new cases were registered here on Friday, 45,391 people were convicted and 301 people died. So far 32.88 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in the state, out of which 26.95 lakh people have recovered while 57,329 people have died. About 5.34 lakh people are undergoing treatment here.

2. In the
state of Chhattisgarh , 11,447 people tested positive for corona on Friday, 2,613 recovered and 91 died. So far, 4 lakh 18 thousand 678 people have been infected in the state, out of which 3 lakh 37 thousand 156 people have recovered, while 4654 patients have died. 76 thousand 865 patients are being treated. Compared to the transition the active rate here is the highest in the country. Currently 18.4% of active patients are under treatment.

3. Uttar Pradesh On
Friday, 9,587 people reported positive corona, 583 people recovered and 36 people died. So far 6 lakh 63 thousand 991 people have been infected here, out of which 6 lakh 6 thousand 646 people have recovered, while 9,039 patients have died. 48 thousand 306 patients are undergoing treatment.

4. Delhi On
Friday 8,521 people in the state were found to be corona positive, 5032 people recovered and 39 people died. So far 7 lakh 6 thousand 526 people have been infected, out of which 6 lakh 86 thousand 699 people have recovered, while 11 thousand 196 patients have lost their lives. 26 thousand 631 patients are undergoing treatment.

5. Madhya Pradesh On
Friday, 4,882 people in the state tested positive for corona, 3433 people recovered and 23 people died. So far 3 lakh 27 thousand 220 people have been infected here, out of which 2 lakh 92 thousand 598 people have recovered, while 4136 patients have lost their lives, out of which 30 thousand 486 patients are undergoing treatment.

6. Gujarat On
Friday, 4,541 people in the state were found to be corona positive, 2280 people recovered and 42 people died. So far 3 lakh 37 thousand 15 people have been affected by the infection, out of which 3 lakh 9 thousand 626 people have recovered, while 4697 patients have died. 22 thousand 692 patients are undergoing treatment here.

7. Rajasthan On
Friday, 3,970 people felt the transition in the state. 1005 people recovered and 12 died. So far 3 lakh 54 thousand 287 people have been affected by the infection, out of which 3 lakh 27 thousand 304 people have recovered, while 2898 patients have died. 24 thousand 85 patients are undergoing treatment.

8. Punjab On
Friday, 3,404 people felt the transition in the state, 2518 people recovered and 56 people died. So far 2 lakh 66 thousand 494 people have been infected here, out of which 2 lakh 31 thousand 885 people have recovered, while 7390 patients have lost their lives. 27 thousand 219 patients are undergoing treatment.
