Kovid-19 infection is spreading rapidly in the country. The government is taking several steps to prevent this. This includes vaccinating more and more people. The government is encouraging people to get vaccinated in many ways. Now the Central Bank of India has also come up with a special deposit scheme to encourage people to get vaccinated.


What is this special scheme?
The Central Bank of India has launched a special fixed deposit scheme called Immune India Deposit Scheme. This scheme is only for those who have been vaccinated against covid. Under this scheme, those who have been vaccinated will get 0.25% more than the current rate on Fixed Deposit (FD). Those who have not been vaccinated will not get the benefit of this scheme.

Bank for a limited period has given information about the scheme in a social media post. The bank said that the maturity period of the scheme is 1,111 days and the scheme has been launched for a limited period. Under the scheme, senior citizens who get vaccinated will get 0.50% more interest on the deposit. The bank says the scheme has been launched to motivate more and more people for vaccination


Central Bank offers interest up to 5.1% on FDs The
Central Bank of India is currently offering fixed deposits of 7 days to 10 years. Under this, the bank offers interest ranging from 2.75% to 5.1%. The Bank has been paying the following interest for the period from January 8, 2021.
