The main guideline is not to know how to get a remedial injection once

Surat AAP leader Dharmesh Bhanderi's interview:'The CM does not know where the remedial injection came from; It just shows that the real government is Patil. '

BJP state president considers himself a parallel government and supreme power: Dharmesh Bhanderi
"Giving a phone worth Rs 1.5 lakh to the people's representatives is an abuse of people's tax money. I don't want such a phone."

Surat Mun. After the election of 27 members of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the corporation, the ruling BJP is constantly in the news. Surat Mun. The Aam Aadmi Party's 27 councilors in the corporation are aggressively playing the role of opposition. Dharmesh Bhanderi, who was elected for the first time without any public experience or political family background, in a meeting with Divya Bhaskar, raised sharp questions against the BJP office's attempt to distribute remedicivir injections. Apart from discussing the administration's negligence in the Corona epidemic, the rampant administration and the plight of the people of Surat, he also made serious allegations about the arbitrariness of BJP state president CR Patil in Surat.

Dharmesh Bhandari's question: Does the Chief Minister have to give a half-hearted answer to 'ask Patil' or investigate the whole incident?

Divya Bhaskar: What do you say about the attempt to distribute injections from the BJP office?
Dharmesh Bhanderi: Even in such a difficult time of the epidemic, I would call such a gesture a demonic instinct to gain political advantage in very clear and strict words. Let me explain to you the whole chronology with date.

The Surat district collector said on April 6 that patients do not need to run errands. We will provide the necessary injections as the doctor says.

By April 8, the system was running smoothly and patients in need were receiving adequate injections.
On April 9, private hospitals mailed the need for injections, got approval and asked to get the amount of injections from the civil hospital.

Private hospital administrators were told when the Civil arrived that the amount of injections was missing.

Late at night suddenly the collector also announced that we could no longer provide injections.

Why did this happen all of a sudden? Why did the collector have to cancel his own speech in two days? Didn't Patilbhau acquire these 5000 injections at the expense of the people of Surat? If you don't have a license, you don't have the education or experience to maintain drugs, how can you buy and share? The distribution of injections from the BJP office is illegal, immoral and ruthless. However, the Chief Minister replied, "Ask Patil where the injection came from." What level of negligence and carelessness is this? The Chief Minister should immediately conduct an inquiry and put its transparent details before the public. Instead, the CM's response shows that the real remote of power is elsewhere.

Even the BJP leaders admit to us that no one is against Patil.

Are you saying that the BJP considers itself a bigger center of power than the government?
It doesn't matter. The BJP organization considers itself more powerful than the BJP government. Considers itself a parallel government above the government. The state president considers himself the supreme power of Gujarat. The whole of Surat knows that it is CR Patil who takes all the decisions and decides, it happens as he says. Nothing yields a CM.

The elected office bearers of BJP in Surat Municipality are only working to subdue the orders coming from above. Some BJP office-bearers in the shadows also accept the compulsion before us. Keep writing, it is just the beginning but in the next five years we will oppose every such dictatorship of the BJP with full force and expose it to the public.

People continued to trust the BJP, but in return the BJP has left the people in the face of the Koro epidemic.

The condition of Surat seems to be worse due to the Koro epidemic. Where do you think this is?
It is the duty of the corporation to properly manage the tax money of the people and in return provide water, sanitation, roads, education and health facilities to the people. Today, it is becoming clear in the Koro epidemic that the authorities of every major city of Surat and Gujarat have completely failed in it. Transition has broken out all over Surat.

Treatment is a long way off, there is a wait for the test and the saddest thing is to wait for the turn for the funeral. Whether it is Umra or Ashwinikumar cemetery, we have filmed and put in front of the people the heartbreaking scenes of corpses lined up everywhere. This is a very sad, shameful and blatant example of how the BJP is retaliating against the people who have won the BJP by putting their trust in it.

Not only Surat, but the whole of Gujarat is watching the new Aam Aadmi Party councilor. What are you doing so uniquely in Surat?

It is true that the Aam Aadmi Party is the main opposition party in Surat with the highest number of 27 seats compared to all the Municipal Corporations in Gujarat, but when evaluating its performance, it must be remembered that we are the opposition, meaning we are not in power. However, in the first month alone, we raised some issues. The BJP's arbitrary administration in the corporation has been exposed. This is just the beginning. We will strongly oppose any decision taken by the municipal administration in Surat which is not in the public interest.

It is our duty to see that the hard earned tax money is used for the benefit of the people and we will do it.

What decisions of the rulers so far have you not felt in the public interest?
Immediately after the election, in addition to the mayor, deputy mayor, chairman of the standing committee, as the leader of the opposition, it was decided to give me the latest model of the iPhone, which cost about Rs. I found out that it was 1 lakh 58 thousand. I felt the blatant misuse of the black money earned by these people. If you get a phone as an appointee, that's fine, but it can run for 15 thousand phones. Why pay for such an expensive phone?

After I refused, till today Surat Muni. The deputies of the corporation are still in a dilemma and cannot make any decision. This was our beginning. Now, as we get to know the intricacies of the administration and the malice of the BJP authorities in it, we continue to present our opposition with more intensity.

Has leased water to crorepati traders of Surat textile market; We will launch a fierce campaign against it.

Textile market Rs. You often mention the Rs 300 crore scam. What is it?
This is a rare example of filling one's own pockets by damaging the public treasury. The site of Surat Textile Market was leased by the then Surat Sudharai Mandal to the Textile Co-operative Society for a period of 50 years in 1967-68 to boost the textile industry. The lease expired in 2017-18. Approximately 24435 sq. M. There was a provision to lease the space again for 50 years as per the terms of the lease, but there was also a condition to fix the rent on a monthly basis.

In the year 2018, the old body of the corporation spent Rs. Per sq. Decided to rent the meter jantribhav. Accordingly, the one-time rent of this place for 50 years is Rs. 127 crore. The previous body of the corporation had passed a resolution in this regard, approval was obtained. This amount was to be paid in 5 years. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person. While the market price of this space in the area is currently Rs. 2 lakh per sq. Meters and the reality is that even after paying such a hefty price, it is difficult to find space there.

The textile market has 1033 shops and offices, which currently cost Rs. 50 thousand to Rs. The monthly rent is around Rs 1.5 lakh. We have 1033 shops for Rs. 127 crore, the monthly rent of a shop is Rs. Barely 2000. Thus the textile market objected even though the space was available for another 50 years at a completely free price.

Now that a new body has come into existence in the municipality, a new standing committee has been formed, which has approved the objections of the textile market and Rs. The rent of Rs 127 crore has been kept unchanged, but the 50-year lease has been fixed for 99 years, i.e. at present a monthly rent of Rs 50,000 to Rs 1.5 lakh is charged; The place was decided by Surat Muni for a rent of only Rs. This is considered a total mismanagement of public money. It is a matter of robbing the municipal treasury; It smells of blatant corruption.

We have demanded that the condition of the people has become very pitiable due to the Corona epidemic. Those living in houses smaller than meters should be given property tax relief. The BJP rulers do not like giving such relief to the poor and lower middle class. Why are the textile market traders, who are doing crores of business against it, being given such a lucrative advantage? Due to Corona, we have postponed the fasting movement on this issue, but in the coming days, the BJP-ruled body will have to answer to the people of Surat on this issue.
