Orange Alert has been declared in all the districts of Punjab due to cold and fog.The temperature in Bathinda reached 0 degrees on Wednesday night. A yellow alert has been issued for the cold snap until January 4. It may rain in many places between January 1 and 4.

 The Meteorological Department issues a Red, Orange, Yellow Alert when it gets colder, hotter or later rainy in some areas. When the weather in a city is normal, it is placed in the green category.

 Currently Punjab is on Orange Alert. So you have to be careful before leaving home.

Haryana: The coldest night in Hisar in 24 years has
