This person started this unique initiative by seeing the children eating more and less from the garbage, how many children today

As everyone knows, our country is not yet completely free from malnutrition. Even today, in some parts of the country, children and adults get to eat a total of 2 times a day. There are many people in the country who provide free or cheap nutritious food to the poor.

On April 13, 2018, as he was leaving his house to go to Pankaj Gupta's shop in Gurugram, he saw children eating food from a pile of rubbish on the road. Seeing such a situation of children, Pankaj himself decided to do something different and effective and he started Devdoot Food Bank in Gurugram on the next day i.e. 14th April 2018.

In the early days, Pankaj's initiative was ignored and people were making fun of his work. In the early days, food was prepared by cooks. He decided that children would be given free food, while adults would be charged very little for food, so that all the poor could benefit from the facility.

This organization is providing food to the people for only Rs. Pankaj talks about distributing food for very little money even in times of inflation. His goal is not to make money but to feed the economically weak. With the launch of this initiative, Pankaj had set a target of providing food to a total of 100 people in just 1 day but now it caters to more than 500 people daily.

I have kept Rs 5 for a dish because it allows people to eat with pride.

In order to continue this work, people serving the community provide the necessary funds to the organization through donations. Pankaj says that at present, many people are joining him as well as helping him.

During this period, the organization was serving very tasty and nutritious dishes to the poor. Considering the Coronavirus, the organization has taken full care of cooking, distribution and hygiene. According to Pankaj, all the hygiene rules set by the government are followed in the kitchen of the institute.
