Farmers are getting support from young people from many parts of the country, some of whom are students and some are businessmen.

Pooja Srivastava, 23, lives in Madhya Pradesh. She is doing her MA in Political Science at KRG College, Gwalior. Currently, Pooja has reached the Delhi-Haryana border, thousands of km away from his home, to support the agitating farmers. Pooja says, this is not just a farmers' movement, but a nationwide movement. The issues that farmers are agitating for affect everyone. If agriculture falls into the hands of the corporate sector, it will affect everyone, that is why we are all on the road and the students and the movement have an old relationship. If you look at any major movement, the role of students will be important. We have come to fulfill our same role.
Pooja is not alone, having come from another state to join the peasant movement. Along with Pooja, there are other students from Madhya Pradesh. He has been out of his house since November 22 to join the movement.
Apart from them, youths from other states of the country have also arrived to join the movement. Those people, even if they do not cultivate, support the demand of the farmers. Harman Dhillon, who lives in Punjab, is one such youth who has come to Delhi from Chandigarh to join the peasant movement.

Harman originally lives in Fazilka district of Punjab. Harman, who has studied BTech, is associated with the Punjabi music and film industries and has also acted in some Bollywood films. In Akshay Kumar's acclaimed film Kesari, he played the role of Jeevan Jalandhari, one of the 21 Sikh soldiers.
We were busy with our work, but then we saw a video of the movement on Instagram, in which an old woman said she had no son and had reached Delhi after much trouble. That woman is like our mother. We just came here to be their boys.
Along with Harman, 26-year-old Amarinder Gill has also come from Chandigarh to join the agitation. That said, when we saw our elders being beaten with sticks and water being poured on them and they were forced to sit on the roads in this cold, seeing all this made our blood boil. That same day we decided that we would go to Delhi and stand in front of our elders so that if someone hit me with a stick it would hit us first. We will not let our elders walk on sticks.
