The Indian Coast Guard has issued notification for recruitment of 358 posts of sailors. The recruitment will be for Sailor (General Duty), Sailor (Local Branch) and Mechanical. Interested candidates will be able to apply online through the official website till January 19, 2021.

Candidates should have passed 10 with minimum 50% from any recognized board or institute. You can see the official notification for more information regarding educational qualification.
Age Limit
The number of candidates applying for these posts should be 18 to 22 years of age till April 01, 2021. This means that candidates born between 01 April 1999 and 31 March 2003 will be considered eligible. ST and SC candidates are allowed 5 years and OBC candidates are allowed maximum 3 years in the age limit.
Income
Selected candidates will get Rs. 21,700 per month as per Level 3 of 7th CPC.
