Oh no / bad news for BSNL users: the company has discontinued these 4 recharge plans, find out what these plans are
Telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has revised some of its prepaid plans. It has increased recognition in some schemes and made some changes in some schemes. Apart from this BSNL has launched a new prepaid plan and some vouchers have also been withdrawn.
Existing customers of ‘These Plans’ or STV will continue till the last date of their validation. However, they will not be allowed to use this same plan voucher or STV any more and they can use any recharge offer available as per their requirement. Find out which schemes BSNL has withdrawn
The company has discontinued Rs 47 recharge coupons, Rs 109 plan vouchers and Rs 998, Rs 1098 special tariff vouchers. Along with this, BSNL is also preparing to offer a prepaid plan of Rs 197 from April 3.
BSNL's Rs 197 prepaid plan
BSNL's Rs 197 prepaid plan offers 2 GB of data per day and unlimited calls for 18 days. The current unlimited data speed with this plan will be reduced to 80 Kbps. This will also give access to the Zing Music app for 18 days. However, the plan is getting 180 days validity.
This prepaid plan became expensive
BSNL has hiked the price of its Rs 365 prepaid plan by Rs 32. It will now cost Rs 397 per annum prepaid plan and no change in its other benefits. In this plan users get unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS deli and 2GB data daily for 60 days. The total validity of the plan is 365 days.
Prepaid plans of Rs 249 and Rs 298
BSNL Rs 249 plan offers users unlimited voice calls on any network. It also offers unlimited data up to 1 GB per day. At the end of which its speed decreases to 40 kbps. Daily 100 free sms in the plan. The validity of this plan is 60 days. The prepaid plan of Rs 298 also offers the same benefit. However, this plan comes with Eros Now subscription and is valid for 56 days.
