State Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani has started preparations to close the two projects that Chinese companies are going to start in Gujarat. He has also sought the guidance of the Center in this regard.

At a time when 59 Chinese applications across the country, including the Tiktok and Hello applications, have been banned, the attitude of the Indian government is becoming apparent.

If these projects are canceled, the Rs 40,000 crore investment in Gujarat could be affected.

India-China relations are deteriorating further, as evidenced by the ban imposed on all these apps.

The two projects in Gujarat with an investment of Rs 10,500 crore are likely to be canceled. The Gujarat government is awaiting the Centre's decision.

At the end of the last year before the Corona transition, two agreements were signed between the Government of Gujarat and the China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (CASME) in Gandhinagar in the presence of Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani.


As per the agreement between SPV Dholera Industrial City Development Limited and CASME of Dholera Special Investment Region, China Industrial Park in Dholera is being launched in the coming days with a potential investment of Rs 10,500 crore. Wendong Yi also signed.

According to the agreement, the Chief Minister told the Chinese delegation about the large influx of foreign investment in Gujarat, adding that by 2022, Chinese industrialists would complete the required operations of their plant units and start production in the state to reap the benefits of incentives.

Rupani said at the time that the tax concessions given by the Indian government to the industries, and the facility announced by the Gujarat government, including the promotion of solar energy in the MSME sector, would also benefit these Chinese industries, although now the agreement In addition, permission has been sought to cancel 22 MAUs signed with Chinese companies in 2015.
