Wrong Circular / Complaint filed by Gujarat Board in Cyber Crime, False exam dates filed against the person who went viral FIR
The Gujarat Board has finally registered a police complaint against an unknown person who went viral by preparing a fake circular with wrong dates of the next board exam of Gujarat state Std. 10-12. A complaint in cyber crime has been lodged in Gandhinagar by the examination secretary of the board.

The next main public board examinations of Std. 10, 12 Science and 12 S.P.R. have been held by Gujarat Education Board from 10th to 8th May. The fake letter showing the dates was changed from June 15 to June 30 and went viral. The board then issued a circular clarifying that the letter was fake and no change was made in the board exam dates.

Confusion arose among students-parents and schools as the wrong dates went viral and as a result the examination secretary of the board has also lodged a cyber crime police complaint in this regard. It is important to note that at present the board examinations will be held as per the fixed timetable from May 10 to May 8, but if the condition of Corona worsens further and the situation does not get under control in the next 3 days. So it may not be possible to take board exams on fixed dates.
