Glenn Maxwell was caught out by Sundar at the point in Shardul Thakur's bowling. He hit 22 off 13 balls with the help of 2 sixes. While Steve Smith was caught out by Hardik at long-off in the bowling of Yuzvendra Chahal. Smith hit 46 off 38 balls with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Matthew Wade, the second fifty in Wade's T-20, hit 58 off 32 balls with the help of 10 fours and 1 six, hitting the second fifty of his T-20 international career. In Sundar's bowling, Kohli dropped his easy catch on the cover, although he was run out by Kohli / Rahul as Wade was out of the crease.
